The Harvard Club of Australia (HCA) is offering over 35 scholarships to The Principals' Centre in Australia, a joint initiative between the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) and HCA. Now entering its fifth year, this five-day leadership program will be hosted in Sydney from 12 to 16 January 2026.

The program brings together school leaders and Harvard faculty to explore leadership strategies and tools to accelerate learning for all students. Participants come from nearly every schooling jurisdiction across Australia and New Zealand, forming long-lasting professional support networks. To our knowledge, this remains Australia’s largest scholarship initiative specifically designed for school principals.

Applications are now open, and the first round of scholarship applications will close on 30 June. Further details about the program, along with the application link, can be found here.

Eligible applicants include school leaders from Australian public schools with an ICSEA score below 1000 or those located in regional and rural areas. Each HCA Scholarship covers 80% of the program tuition, hotel accommodation with breakfast, and includes a travel stipend.

NTPA encourages members to apply for this wonderful opportunity to build your capacity through Australia’s largest scholarship initiative.
